EVORIX®
evolution × matrix
The firm name "EVORIX®" is a coined term combining the English words "evolution" and "matrix."
evolution
= Evolution
"Evolution" signifies "development," symbolizing our commitment as patent attorneys to continuously evolve in order to provide services that satisfy our clients.
matrix
= Matrix
"Matrix" signifies the source or foundation from which things are born. This expresses our firm’s commitment to constant innovation and growth, aiming to serve as the foundation for new businesses.
Another Origin
Our managing patent attorney, Kenbun Sugiura, is a huge fan of the movie "The Matrix" and has been captivated by its worldview since childhood. There is a theory that the "R" was taken from the third film in the series, "The Matrix Revolutions," and adopted as part of our combined trademark, but the truth remains a mystery.
